I...actually don't hate this one. Not yet, anyway. Shh, give it time. Hatred will come. Anyways, yeah. Jughead from the Archie comics! Yes, I'm a nerd. Judge me, I really don't care. XD I love Jughead, he's such a fun character and honestly the most interesting in the series. He's also one of the very few (maybe only?) asexual/aromantic characters in the media. Finally a character I can relate to on that level. ;v; If only they'd kept that part of his character in the Riverdale show...but don't get me started on that. I will rant and as much as I love a good rant I'm far too tired right now. :p Long story short I was ticked off about that so here's Juggie sporting the ace pride colors on his shirt. Erasing a character's sexualty isn't cool. Don't do it. Also I want a veggie burger now. Damnit. How come Jughead can eat 75 burgers in one sitting and not gain a single pound? Curse you cartoon logic. :shakefist:

You do realize he's openly ace/aro (not entirely clear which save that he finds Archie's drama annoying) in the newest comics as of around issue 10? They even have a moment where it's addressed; maybe not in the most pleasant manner since it involves Archie snapping "At least I'm a NORMAL guy!" at which point Jughead looks like he's been slapped but the fact that they have it as a major character point without him finding romance in general disgusting (he ships Archie/Betty even if Betty annoys him but in general, just wants Archie happy) is kinda neat.
Granted, take that with a grain of salt from me since I'm in my 20s and still haven't completely worked out my sexual and romantic preferences save for the fact that I'm immune to bad boy charm and generally prefer men but can find women attractive.
And "Riverdale" is something that the moment I found out that Archie and Jughead weren't friends anymore, prompted a "Oh HELL no!" reaction from me. Don't care if they fix it; there are certain things I won't tolerate and breaking up long-standing friendships like that one just for the sake of drama is one of them.
