I'm sure everyone knows about the DuckTales reboot by now but if not have a peek: [link] It actually doesn't look half bad, in fact I'm...looking forward to it. Maybe I'm just trying to be optimistic for a change? It's hard when it comes to beloved childhood memories because it's pretty impossible to top the originals. Sure the animation is different but I don't hate the new style either. If this new take on DuckTales is successful it raises the question...will Disney reboot more of their cartoon classics? Darkwing Duck? Rescue Rangers? TALESPIN? TaleSpin was (and still is) one of my absolute favorites. While it would be hard to imagine a reboot it'd also be nice to see the series revived and loved by old and new fans alike. Also the world needs more Don Karnage.

This also makes me wonder...what about other toons? I know Nickelodeon is planning a NickToons movie in addition to Hey Arnold and Invader Zim. Oh, and then the other day I stumbled on this little piece of news... www.nydailynews.com/entertainm… FABOO?? :iconwakkogookieplz: It could be wonderful...or not...but I guess all we can do is wait and see. What next? Tiny Toons? Anything is possible. Nostalgia sells, that much is obvious, and while it can be fun to revisit and re-imagine the classics (as long as it's done for the right reasons and given the same amount of care) it's nice to see new stuff too. This is especially true of the movies...does Disney really need to remake ALL their animated classics in live action/super-realistic CGI? Buuuut that's a rant for another day. XD

At least Disney and Nickelodeon are TRYING to get back to what they did that made them on the map. :) I can't say anything about Cartoon Network and their HORRIBLE revival series like Ben 10 (2017) and Teen Titans Go!. :angry  I don't mind Powerpuff Girls (2016), I thought it was pretty average.
